So what is the meaning of life in only 2 words?
Love Jesus
Now I know that sound cliche, but please allow me to prove the statement above.
John 14:15 "if you love Me, keep My commandments."
So if you love Jesus, you will keep his commandments, if you keep his commandments, you will be following God's purpose for your life.
Romans 10:9-10 If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
The Gospel (literally "good news") is the central message of Christianity, proclaimed throughout the New Testament.
God’s Holiness and Human Sin
God is perfectly holy, just, and loving. He created humanity for relationship with Him, but all people have sinned—rebelling against God and falling short of His glory (Romans 3:23). Sin separates us from God and brings spiritual death and judgment (Romans 6:23).
God’s Love and Jesus’ Sacrifice
Out of His great love, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ—fully God and fully man—to live a sinless life and die on the cross as a substitute for sinners. Jesus took upon Himself the punishment we deserve, paying the price for our sins (John 3:16; Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
Resurrection and Victory
On the third day, God raised Jesus from the dead, proving His deity, defeating sin and death, and validating His sacrifice as sufficient (1 Corinthians 15:3–4). Jesus is now alive forever as Lord and Savior.
Salvation by Grace Through Faith
Forgiveness of sins, reconciliation with God, and eternal life are offered freely as a gift—not earned by good works, but received by turning from sin (repentance) and trusting in Jesus alone as Savior and Lord (Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9). Anyone who believes in Him is forgiven, adopted into God’s family, and given the Holy Spirit as a guarantee of eternal life.
In essence: We are all sinners deserving judgment, but God loves us so much that He sent Jesus to die in our place and rise again. By repenting and trusting in Christ alone, we receive forgiveness and eternal life as a free gift.
